Dental Care Alliance Affiliated Dentist Recognized as one of Top Three Dentists in Virginia
Sarasota, FL – Please join Dental Care Alliance in congratulating Ivetta B. Maclin, DDS, of Konikoff Dental Associates General Booth in Virginia Beach, VA on being named one of the Top 3 Dentists in the state of Virginia by P&R Strategies in its first annual DentaQual EliteStar list.
Dr. Maclin has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Dillard University, and she earned her doctorate at Meharry Medical College. Dr. Maclin also completed a 1-year residency in hospital dentistry prior to spending four years as a dental officer in the US Navy. She has been treating patients at Konikoff Dental Associates since 2002 and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Women’s Dental Network.
“My approach with dentistry is to treat my patients as I would my family. I take the time to ‘listen and hear’ what the patient is trying to achieve in coming to the practice, and I take my time to give loving care to the apprehensive patient because most of the time, they just need to know that you care,” said Dr. Maclin.

In my first two years out of school, I was fortunate enough to take the IV sedation course and implant courses. Dental Care Alliance actually picked up the tab. It was over $20,000 in courses. If I started my own practice I would not have had that opportunity.
