Dental Care Alliance Expands Further West with First Affiliated Practice in Arizona
The Development Team at Dental Care Alliance is pleased to announce that Cordon Orthodontics in Cave Creek, Arizona has joined the DCA Family!
Cordon Orthodontics is located in this growing northern suburb of Phoenix – the largest city in Arizona, and the sixth largest city in the United States. Families in the Tatum Ranch/Desert Ridge and Anthem neighborhoods have sought the expertise of Dr. Nolan Cordon and his team since the genesis of the practice in 1996. The personal attention and thoughtful treatment planning that new patients receive has distinguished the practice as one of the best in the greater Phoenix area.
The team at Cordon Orthodontics is dedicated to creating exceptional patient experiences and providing the highest quality orthodontic treatment. To help patients achieve the smile that they desire, the practice uses the latest state-of-the-art equipment, technology and sterilization techniques. In addition to traditional orthodontics and to meet the myriad needs and preferences of all patients with malocclusions, Cordon Orthodontics provides interceptive orthodontics (a philosophy and technique developed to address certain early orthodontic problems) and Invisalign® invisible braces as alternative treatments.
The practice is led by Dr. Nolan Cordon, who was born in California into a dedicated United States Air Force family, and enjoyed living throughout the US, as well as in Italy, Germany, Taiwan and the Philippines. He spent his early collegiate years at Brigham Young University, two of which he spent providing missionary service to the people of Spain.
His dedication and desire to work in the field of dentistry led Dr. Cordon to the Oregon Health Sciences School of Dentistry in Portland. There he served as student body president, volunteered time to those in need of dental services and graduated at the top of his dental school class. Dr. Cordon chose to attend the University of Oklahoma, renowned for its academic, research and clinical excellence, for his orthodontic residency. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Cordon is a current member of the American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Omega Kappa Upsilon (National Dental Academic Honor Society) and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists.
“We are beyond excited to welcome the dynamic team at Cordon Orthodontics to the DCA Family,” stated David Pegg, Chief Development Officer. “Our first practice in Arizona, Dental Care Alliance couldn’t be more proud to be the partner of choice for such an accomplished practice and group of dental healthcare professionals. We look forward to growing stronger together!”

In my first two years out of school, I was fortunate enough to take the IV sedation course and implant courses. Dental Care Alliance actually picked up the tab. It was over $20,000 in courses. If I started my own practice I would not have had that opportunity.
