Baystate Dental is looking for a Full-Time Dental Hygienist to join our clinical team in Springfield, MA, to provide a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. We are committed to providing comprehensive, personalized care in a warm and welcoming environment, prioritizing patient comfort and advanced treatments for optimal oral health.

Position Overview:

As a Dental Hygienist at Baystate Dental, you’ll provide exceptional care through routine cleanings, assessments, and education, all while supporting a dynamic team of dental professionals. We offer a friendly, growth-oriented workplace where patient comfort is always a priority.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday (8:00-5:00)

To ensure our hygienists get off to a successful start, the candidate we hire will be provided a short training program, so when they begin to see patients, they will feel confident and comfortable in their new position within our team. We are currently utilizing hygiene lasers; 3D printers; Primescan; Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), a game changer in the hygiene world; and Overjet AI. You’ll have the best technology to provide your patients with top quality care!

Responsibilities

• Perform routine dental cleanings and oral health Assessments
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
• Assist dentists with exams and treatments, and take dental X-rays
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with industry regulations and adhere to sterilization protocols

Qualifications

• Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in dental Hygiene
• License: Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
• Certification s: Local anesthesia certification preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
