Long Wharf Dental is looking for a Full-Time Dental Hygienist in New Haven, CT to join our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. We are committed to providing comprehensive, personalized care in a warm and welcoming environment, prioritizing patient comfort and advanced treatments for optimal oral health.

Position Overview:

As a Dental Hygienist at Long Wharf Dental, you’ll provide exceptional care through routine cleanings, assessments, and education, all while supporting a dynamic team of dental professionals. We offer a friendly, growth-oriented workplace where patient comfort is always a priority.

What we offer:

• Competitive Pay : $46-$51/hour + monthly bonus potential
• Schedule: Monday-Wednesday 8:30am-5:30pm, Thursday 7:30am-6:30pm, Friday 7:30am-4:30pm (60 minute lunch break).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine dental cleanings and oral health Assessments
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
• Assist dentists with exams and treatments, and take dental X-rays
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with industry regulations and adhere to sterilization protocols

Qualifications

• Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in dental Hygiene
• License: Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
• Certification s: Local anesthesia certification and CPR/First Aid (if applicable)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
