Shannon Murphy started with a private practice that later became affiliated with DCA. A dental assistant at the time, she was nervous about the transition, but everything went smoothly. In fact, Shannon has since worked as a treatment coordinator and an office manager with DCA, before returning to school to become a dental hygienist. Knowing she would return to DCA after graduation, she recruited a few of her friends.
Some of Shannon’s other friends, who went to work for private practices or another DSO, have since become dissatisfied and are now also looking for opportunities. They’ve learned from Shannon that DCA not only provides great support for its offices, but promotes a sense of camaraderie and helpfulness. “We never have to worry about having enough staff or office supplies. It gives us the freedom to do dentistry and take care of patients like we like to do.”
