On Women’s Equality Day, Dental Care Alliance (DCA), one of the largest dental support organizations (DSOs) in the country, is proud to announce the official launch of its newest employee resource group (ERG), Women of DCA.

The Women of DCA ERG was designed to create a connected community of women and allies at DCA that champions equity, amplifies voices, and supports personal and professional development. With women representing the majority of the dental workforce nationwide, this group recognizes the critical role women play in shaping the future of oral healthcare.

“Today is about more than celebrating equality—it’s about action,” said Dr. Larry Benz, Chief Executive Officer.

“Women of DCA will create new opportunities for connection, advancement, and advocacy, ensuring that the women who power our practices and our organization have a strong voice and platform.”

Women of DCA will focus its efforts on five collectives:

  • Growth: offering resources and opportunities to grow, lead, and learn.
  • Service: connecting with and giving back to our local communities.
  • Wellness: supporting the whole woman, inside and outside of work.
  • Culture: fostering connection through celebration, storytelling, and shared experiences.
  • Advocacy: elevating the voices, challenges, and contributions of women at DCA.

DCA is committed to creating an environment where all team members can thrive, and the launch of Women of DCA reflects that commitment. The group will be open to all team members—women and allies alike—who are dedicated to building a stronger, more inclusive future.

“We believe that when women rise, we all rise,” said Dr. Johanna (Tes) Tesoniero, Chief Dental Officer and Executive Sponsor.

“Launching this ERG on Women’s Equality Day is a powerful reminder of the progress we’ve made and the work that still lies ahead. Together, we can drive meaningful change for our teams, our patients, and the communities we serve.”
