Dental Care Alliance Continues to Expand its Georgia Footprint with New Affiliation
Sarasota, FL – Dental Care Alliance (DCA) is proud to announce its recent affiliation with Northside Oral Surgery of Dunwoody, GA.
Founded in 2009, Northside Oral Surgery serves the Dunwoody area and its surrounding communities. Personalized, gentle, comprehensive patient care is their number one priority. The practice offers wisdom teeth extractions, which for many patients can be their first experience with surgery, as well as dental implants (including Teeth in a Day™), orthognathic surgery, and more.
Dr. Lee Whitesides, DMD, MMSc, founder of Northside Oral Surgery, has been practicing for over 20 years and holds multiple degrees. He is one of only two oral maxillofacial surgeons in the US who currently holds a master’s degree in anesthesia and oral surgery. He has been board certified in oral and maxillofacial surgery since 2000. Dr. Whitesides has published over 20 articles in peer reviewed journals and frequently lectures on many topics in oral maxillofacial surgery including dental implants, trauma, and risk management. “We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Whitesides to the DCA network of affiliates and excited to assist him in unlocking growth and perpetuating the high-quality clinical brand he has built,” said David Pegg, CDO of Dental Care Alliance.
The recent affiliation with Northside Oral Surgery marks DCA’s 20th affiliated practice in the state of Georgia. “The affiliation with Northside Oral Surgery furthers DCA’s mission to be the trusted partner for the dental industry’s top professionals. Dr. Whitesides is committed to providing high quality oral health care with a personal touch. We look forward to growing stronger together,” said Jerry Rhodes, CEO of Dental Care Alliance.

I get to practice dentistry my way. I went into a practice with a mentor doctor, so I can get advice if there’s a case I haven’t seen before. Plus, there’s a lot of room for growth. The plan is for me to become the senior doctor at my own office.
