Dental Care Alliance’s Dr. Bryan Laskin on Opera VR
Dr. Bryan Laskin, Dental Care Alliance’s Chief Innovation Officer who practices at DCA’s affiliate office, Lake Minnetonka Dental, hears far too many patients talk about their fear of the dentist. To help combat this, he founded Opera VR—virtual reality software specifically designed to provide therapeutic effects in dental practices. Dr. Laskin says it’s a drug free way to help reduce dental anxiety.
Focused on innovation and providing superior patient experiences, Dental Care Alliance will be integrating the new VR headsets into their practices in the next few months.

I get to practice dentistry my way. I went into a practice with a mentor doctor, so I can get advice if there’s a case I haven’t seen before. Plus, there’s a lot of room for growth. The plan is for me to become the senior doctor at my own office.
